Kedai Makanan Laut Kuala Sungai, Kuala Selangor

Took a drive to Kuala Selangor, yesterday. When you are there, what else, must have my crabs. Drove past 'River View' (one of the seafood restaurants located there). Was crowded, and I have also eaten there the few times I have been to Kuala Selangor. So I told hubby I wanted to try a new place. 'Kedai Makanan Laut Kuala Sungai. When we went in, saw there were only three to four tables occupied. Hmmmm, my food should arrive fast. yummmyyyyyy

Steam Fish

Salted Egg Crab

Lala Soup

Kai Lan

Overall, the food was good. So much better than what I had in Port Dickson, the previous week. The only negative point was, they added big onions to the salted egg crab, and the onions masked the taste of the salted egg. Anyway, my daughter and I finished off the whole plate so I guess I shouldn't complain.

D'Tandoor, Damansara Utama

Had dinner at D'Tandoor with hubby and the kids one night. Was a bit bored with outside chinese food as they tend to be too oily, salty, too much ajinomoto until you get real thirsty after the meal and so on. The last time I went to D'Tandoor (Damansara utama, branch) they were occupying two shop lot's, errrr if I'm not mistaken near where Public Bank is now. They are now located behind Public Bank.

While looking at the menu in D'Tandoor, I noticed that they wrote that it was 'Cholestrol Free' (if I remember correctly), etc

Malabar Palace, Plaza Damas

My colleague and I went to Plaza Damas for lunch today. When we reached there we walked all floors figuring out what to eat. We were on ground floor and stopped at 'The Meat Place' or 'Meat Shop' or something like that. Anyway, we were looking at the menu outside and my colleague commented that it was too meaty. Hmmm, told her that it was 'The Meat Shop', what do you expect. hehehehe

Walked further down and we notice this place which serves Indian Food. We both agreed on it and in we went.

They serve Northern Indian foods. Their set lunch is from RM12.90.

I had the Chicken Vindaloo. The chicken is cooked in spicy curry with a tangy taste. That sounds yummylicious. My colleague had the fish curry. I had a taste of the curry and found that it was too 'coconutty' for my liking.

This is the Pappadam.

The appetizer - Fried mushroom and it had chicken bites inside.

Pitstop Once Cafe in Sec 17

My colleague brought us to a new place for lunch in Sec 17. I remember reading about this place somtime back but didn't think much about it.

Anyway, they have quite a variety of food servered there, from local foods to western.
Here is what we ordered. I had the Lamb Chop Set which came with Musroom soup and a drink - Iced Honey peach tea.

Fish Chop Set with Garlic Butter and Hot Honey Peach Tea

Chicken Chop Set with Mushroom Sauce and Iced Pitstop Tea - their speciality

Crunchy Spiced Squid. It tended to be a bit too salty for our liking

Chicken Chop fried rice. We 'ta pau' this for a colleague of mine who went to the gym instead of going to lunch with us.

I must say the price there is quite reasonable compared to the other places. I used to go to SS3 for cheap Western Food but lately their quality has dropped.
Overall, the price for our lunch was RM84.10.
